Ouarzazate is one of the most magnificent cities in Morocco, of which it is the capital, in the Draâ Tafilalet region. The city is nicknamed “the Gateway to the Desert”.
The climate is pre-Saharan, but with mountainous nuances given the altitude. Thus, the climate is not as dry and as hot as the typical Saharan climate.

Leaving Marrakech behind us, we will head south towards the High Atlas and reach the Tizi N’Tichka pass, 2260 meters high, it is the highest road crossing in Morocco, it connects Marrakech to the Saharan regions of which Ouarzazate is the crossroads.
